Putting the ‘K’ Back in Quality

Kalite (quality in Turkish) are home automation and home-theatre experts with an enviable roster of clients from architecture studios overseeing large projects to private homes welcoming networked devices to their homes.

Kalite (pronounced ka-lee-tay) trusted us with improving their visual identity and putting basic brand assets in order. We retained the memorable aspects of the old brand and thoroughly modernised the wordmark for the age of IoTs and cars in space. Two new brand colours, conspicuously placed notches and a bold visual implementation on stationery later, a brand new Kalite is open for business at Stories, Kochi.

We also designed a signature animation to be used in kiosks and video presentations.

From the old logo, we retained the orange and made it a shade richer. Kalite had grown beyond what their tag-line defined and we decided to let that go. With the new iconic shapes within the wordmark, a separate symbol was also not essential anymore.
